The Dix Hills Ice Rink is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd Annual Pink the Rink Girl's hockey tournament October 5-6 in conjunction with the Long Island Lady Islanders. October is breast cancer awareness month and like everyone else we are looking to do our part. In addition to the girl's hockey tournament, this year we will also host a walk on Saturday, October 5th at 9 AM called "Pink the Park." All monies raised from this weekend will be donated to the American Cancer Society. We ask you to help support a very important cause with one of our three donation options:
1 - $100 Pink T-Shirt Sponsorship - We have designed a special tournament shirt with our Pink the Rink logo to sell during the hockey tournament and to be handed out during the "Pink the Park" walk. Sponsors' business or family name will be printed on the shirt back. All $100 Sponsors please make checks payable to the "Long Island Lady Islanders." We can supply a W-9 from the American Cancer Society for this donation upon request.
2 - $20 "Pink the Park" Walk - Come join us on Saturday, October 5th at 9 AM in the golf course parking lot to participate in our walk around the park. All $20 donations will be eligible to participate in this walk and get a "Pink the Park" T-shirt. Even if you cannot make the walk, this is a great way to support the event and still receive an event T-shirt. Please make all $20 donation checks payable to the "American Cancer Society."
3 - $5 "Pink the Rink" Booster - We have $5 booster cards from the American Cancer Society that will be displayed at the rink from date of purchase through the weekend of the event. These $5 boosters can be purchased at the Dix Hills Ice Rink Manager's Office. Please make checks payable to "American Cancer Society."
