A big congratulations to all of the participants of the LT. Michael Murphy Run Around the Lake this past weekend! Our parents and players from Dix Hills Hawks, LI Rebels and Team Long Island did an awesome job representing! A big shout out to our parents Danielle Neu (L) and Melissa Cerina (R) who competed in the 4 Mile main event! Cerina finished 23rd in her age and Neu finished 5th!!! Way to go! Team Long Island 14U AA wrapped up a great season this weekend at the NYSAHA Tournament in Buffalo, NY. The team finished the ‘23-‘24 season with a 31-21-6 record, winning the NGHL Blue Labor Day Classic and the Rhode Island Sting Columbus Day Invitational. 💙🤍 Off the ice, #TLI14UAA participated in community service projects with🎗️Solving Kids’ Cancer, Kindness Week and PS I Love You Day. 💜 In addition to working hard on the ice, the girls worked hard off the ice, particularly in the classroom. Our student-athletes have a combined 3.95 GPA for the first semester of the school year. On road trips they would study together and receive math support from a parent tutor. 📝 We would like to thank our coaches Matt Spronck (HC), Jeff Lackowitz and Brian Sigler for their expertise. Also huge thanks to our team manager Amy Beach and locker room monitors Janine Esposito & Christina Cianci for their commitment to our team.
